Below you can find a list of all top level domains (TLDs) currently available, and which you may be able to register.* This list is broken down into three groups:

  • gTLDs (generic TLDs which can be registered by anyone)
  • ccTLDs (country code TLDs dedicated to specific countries or regions)
  • sTLDs (sponsored TLDs dedicated to industries or other groups)

  • .INFO
  • .NAME – reserved for use by individuals
  • .NET
  • .ORG
  • .PRO – restricted to credentialed professionals

  • .AERO – reserved for members of the air transport industry
  • .ASIA – reserved for use by members of the Pan-Asia and Asia Pacific community
  • .CAT – restricted to members of the Catalan linguistic and cultural community
  • .COOP – reserved for use by co-op associations
  • .EDU – reserved for post-secondary institutions (They must be accredited by an agency on the U.S. Department of Education’s list of Nationally Recognized Accrediting Agencies to be eligible for a .edu domain registration.)
  • .GOV – restricted to United States government entities
  • .INT – reserved for use by organizations established by international treaties between governments
  • .JOBS – reserved for use by human resources (HR) managers
  • .MIL – restricted for United States military use
  • .MOBI – reserved for use related to mobile products and services
  • .MUSEUM – reserved for use by museums
  • .TEL – reserved for consumers or businesses wanting to publish contact details
  • .TRAVEL – restricted to companies in the travel industry

  2. John – .co.uk is not top-level. It’s a second-level domain extension for .uk (which is included here).
